The National Housing Conference (NHC) is a national non-profit organization dedicated to helping ensure safe, decent and affordable housing for all in America. NHC works toward this goal through research, outreach and advocacy at the national, state and local levels. NHC’s research division, the Center for Housing Policy, specializes in conducting and translating research to broaden understanding of America’s affordable housing challenges, to develop evidence-based policy solutions, and to examine the impact of housing programs and policies.

Formed in 1931, the nonprofit National Housing Conference is dedicated to helping ensure safe, decent and affordable housing for all in America.
